Partner & Referral Disclosure

How This Site Works

Heat Pumps Leicester publishes information about air source heat pumps, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, solar panels and battery storage, and collects enquiries from homeowners in Leicester and Leicestershire. The installation work itself is carried out by our network of vetted partner installers, each MCS-certified and local to or covering Leicestershire.

When you submit the estimate form, we pass your details to up to three partner installers that cover your area. They contact you to discuss your home and, if suitable, provide a quotation. The installation contract is between you and the partner installer, not with this website.

How We Are Paid

Partner installers pay us a fee for each enquiry we pass to them, or a commission when an enquiry leads to a sale. You pay nothing to Heat Pumps Leicester. The fee does not change the price you are quoted: a quotation is the installer's own price for the work, and you can compare it with quotes from installers we do not work with.

How We Vet Our Partner Installers

Every installer in our partner network is local to, or covers, Leicester and Leicestershire, and must meet the following before we pass them a single enquiry:

• MCS certification for the technology they install (heat pumps, solar PV or battery storage), checked on the official MCS register. This is also a condition of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
• Consumer code membership with RECC or HIES, which gives you independent dispute resolution and deposit and workmanship protection.
• Public liability insurance in force and evidence of it.
• Genuine Leicestershire coverage: a local base or a track record of installations in the county, so surveys and after-care are practical.
• Customer feedback: we review independent ratings and ask partners about complaints. Partners that generate complaints or ignore stop-contact requests are removed.

Vetting reduces risk but is not a guarantee. Always read the installer's quotation, terms and warranty, and compare it with other quotes before you commit.

Which Partners Receive Your Details

We tell you the name of each partner installer that receives your details at the time we pass them on, and you can ask us at any time which partners have received them. Your consent covers only installers that have passed the vetting above.

What This Means for You

• Your contract is with the partner installer. Their written quotation, terms, warranties, insurance and consumer-code membership (RECC or HIES) govern the work. Read them before you sign.
• You are free to compare. Getting other quotes is sensible, and nothing on this site should stop you.
• Grants are not guaranteed. Boiler Upgrade Scheme eligibility is assessed by the installer and Ofgem, not by us.
• You can stop contact at any time. Use the Stop Contact page, reply STOP to any message, or say so on a call. We will also tell the installers we shared your details with.
• Automated and AI contact. With your consent, follow-up may include automated or AI-assisted calls and messages. You can always ask for a person.

Advertising and Measurement

This site may appear in paid search results or other advertising. If we add analytics or call-tracking tools, we will ask for your cookie consent first. Our Privacy Policy explains what is collected and shared.
